This is a nail-in anchor, also known as a hammer drive anchor or drive pin anchor.
Structure: It consists of a slotted metal sleeve and a central drive pin. The sleeve has a flange (washer) at one end, and the drive pin sits inside the sleeve.
Installation principle: You first drill a hole in concrete, brick, or masonry, insert the anchor, then hammer the pin into the sleeve. As the pin is driven in, it forces the slotted sleeve to expand against the hole walls, creating a tight, secure hold.
Finish: The silver zinc plating provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor or dry outdoor use.
